Hey! I'm Gemma
I’m a mum, wife and experienced HR Professional over the last few years, my role has expanded into General Management and Operations, now I lead a number of different departments including Commercial Operations, Licensing, Marketing, QA & Loc, IT and HR, Recruitment and Facilities.
I’m proud to be the first female Board Director at Dovetail Games, and I’m driven to set good examples for my children. I also sit on the Board for Women in Games and I’m assisting and advising the future strategy to help more women into the games industry.
I left education at 16 and went to work in a different range of industries. I learnt a lot and fast! My HR career started over 15 years ago quite by accident, but I enjoyed it, I studied to gain my qualifications starting as an associate and continued my studies to qualify as a Fellow in 2017.
When I started at Dovetail Games, we were just 30 people and now we’ve grown to 180. The transformation of the company, our products and our people in that time is awesome and something I’m very proud of.
What I enjoy most about working here is the people I get to meet and get to work with every day.
