Hey! I'm Dan
I’ve worked in the sports and video games industry for over 25 years, a thing I’m very proud of, but something my 18-year-old self would never have thought possible as he embarked on a degree in surveying during a property & economic recession. A post university season snowboarding helped me revaluate my priorities and follow my passion of sports, games, and entertainment.
To which followed a career from studio development, through marketing and publishing in the video games space with a lot of sports rights activation along the way across most major sports, but predominantly football with EA SPORTS FIFA. A real privilege to have partnered with some of the most prestigious sports clubs, leagues, and athletes on the planet.
Including a Premier League club shirt sponsorship deal and activation whilst working for a telco during the Covid pandemic on route to Dovetail Games. Initially I started here part-time helping launch a sports fishing game, and with my role developing over time I now have the privilege of leading our wonderful marketing team across our Trains, Board Game and Fishing franchises.
Outside of work, I am a family man with a love of the great outdoors, which my dogs love even more than me. An aging sportsman I run, ride, golf and snowboard, even though my body doesn’t thank me for it!
