Hey! I'm Clare
I joined Dovetail in 2021 just as we were coming out the other side of the pandemic and it was the best career decision I ever made. Prior to Dovetail my HR career began working for a building development company in London followed by a role in the financial sector.
I have always enjoyed a bit of gaming but joining the gaming industry was completely new to me and I have found it to have the best culture, working with people who love and are passionate about what they do. Everyone within the Company and wider industry is so supportive of each other and there is no judgement. I love the flexibility and worklife balance. We get to choose to work where we do our best work and I am lucky enough to live local to our office so I have a great balance of working from home some days and attending the office and collaborating in person on others. Dovetail has enabled me to grow so much already and I look forward to many more years here.
I enjoy supporting our Culture Champions group who get involved in feedback on how people are feeling and what they want to see more of. I also help to lead our DE&I group to ensure we are being inclusive and help people feel like they truly belong.
Outside of work I mainly love to spend time with my 2 Cocker Spaniels, going for long walks and exploring. Spending time with my family and friends is really important to me. I also love food so trying new dishes and cooking new things brings me a lot of joy.
