Director of Product Marketing

The role

We are looking to recruit a Director of Product Marketing to work on our Fishing titles. This role reports to the VP of Publishing.

We have recently moved into a brand new river-front studio in the heart of the Historic Dockyard in Kent, UK. We are growing fast, developing our games using cutting-edge technology and delivering these on multiple platforms: PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One as well as Next Generation platforms, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. 

This role will be considered fully UK based remote.

Responsibilities

  • Be the product evangelist, from internal teams to external partners, agencies and players 
  • Define and execute the global go to market and communication strategy for the key launches, seasonal sales, DLC releases and always-on promotion for Dovetail’s fishing releases, based on compelling creative, data analytics and research. 
  • Develop a customer-centric approach to product marketing. Utilise audience insight, marketing analytics and initiate research to inform and optimise strategy
  • Work closely with the Creative Services team to ensure all relevant marketing and promotional assets are at a high standard and apt for the target audience
  • Brief media and PR agencies to get measurable and successful results 
  • Define and track product KPI’s to drive marketing success 
  • Understand and monitor consumer and competitor trends as a leading platform and player expert within the company
  • Be the collaborative champion with the development, creative services, 1stparty suppliers, retail team and agencies.  

What we look for in you

  • A strategic and creative thinker who is able to make rapid, data-driven decisions and develop marketing strategy within a fast-paced, high-growth business. 
  • Experienced games marketing manager, with many PC and Console releases in your history
  • Have hands-on experience across a breadth of marketing channels. In particular, digital marketing and 1-to-1 marketing. 
  • Solid understanding of PC and Console publishing platforms and opportunities
  • Creatively and commercially orientated
  • Strong leader and influencer
  • Excellent understanding of the development and publishing process
  • Demonstrable background of managing successful games marketing campaigns
  • Very personable with strong presentation, organisationand management skills 
  • Line management experience and be confident with the matrix management of a large team for product marketing launches 
  • Budget holder experience with global marketing spends
